Child safety standards

Nimroo · measures against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE)

Principle

Nimroo does not tolerate child sexual abuse material, the grooming of minors, or content that trivialises or promotes either. This applies without exception, to text as well as images, in posts as well as answers. There is no grey area and nothing to weigh up.

Who may use Nimroo

Use requires a minimum age of 16, as stated in our terms of use. The app is not directed at children, contains no content for children, and is not marketed to them. There are no private messages and no chat — posts are public and visible to moderation.

How to report

Every post and answer can be reported in the app with one tap from the "…" menu. Child safety concerns can also be raised directly at eshghabadi000@gmail.com at any time, including by people who do not use the app. Such reports are handled with priority.

What we do

Reporting to authorities

Where content gives rise to suspicion of child sexual abuse, we report it to the competent law enforcement authorities — in Germany the Bundeskriminalamt — and cooperate with their investigation. We comply with applicable child protection law. Material concerned is preserved where necessary for evidence and is not further distributed.
